Float through Cabo waters while enjoying one of the fastest growing water sports in the world and one of the most popular water activities in the Baja: stand-up paddle board or SUP as it’s commonly known. CABO SUP, the first stand up paddle board club is located in the heart of Medano Beach and features the only ASI (Academy of Stand Up Paddle Board Instructors) certified instructors in the Baja. The club offers lessons, rentals and guided tours and is an on-site partner of Bahia Hotel & Beach Club.
CABO SUP was founded by Lee and Meredith Vosburgh after they discovered their passion for stand up paddle boarding in Montauk, Long Island, New York where they spent eight years perfecting the sport. After deciding on Cabo as the perfect location for stand up paddle boarding, they made the move to the Medano Beach area and partnered up with Bahia Hotel. Located one block from the popular boutique hotel, CABO SUP has spent the past seven years on the pristine waters of the Sea of Cortez.
Paddle boarders can take advantage of free lessons with a rental at CABO SUP. Basic instruction and safety guidelines accompany the lesson and afterwards, riders are free to explore as they wish. Private and small group surf lessons and rentals are also available as well as guided tours which are offered daily from 7 a.m. – 5p.m.
