Feeling happy Mexico? You should be.

A recent study published by WIN/Gallup International revealed the happiest and unhappiest countries. Its annual end of year survey for 2015 showed Central and South America dominating the top 10 spots with our very own Mexico taking the eighth spot. As the 39th year of the survey, this year’s polled 66,040 people from 68 countries on their outlooks, expectations, views and beliefs. Roughly 1000 people (both men and women) per country were interviewed to complete the survey. Along with happiness and unhappiness levels, the survey also showed levels of hope, economic optimism and the outlook for 2016.

To grab that No. 8 spot, 78 percent of Mexico surveyed reported that they were happy while only 2 percent claimed they were unhappy, resulting in a 76 percent score of net happiness.
